Real Estate Success Story

Every day, we’re working to bring more awareness to the work we do at Prison Professors—because every person in prison deserves an opportunity to prepare for something better.

One of the most effective ways we drive that awareness is through education. That’s why we create daily lessons that help people understand the connection between the decisions they make today and the outcomes they can expect tomorrow. We ground all the lessons through lived experience—my own, and that of people who have walked the hard path and come through it with purpose.

One of the people I learned from is Glenn Martin, and I’m proud to feature him in our MasterClass series. His story is one of transformation, resilience, and leadership. After serving time in prison, Glenn didn’t just rebuild his life—he became a national leader in criminal justice reform, entrepreneurship, and second chances. Today, he runs a successful real estate business and helps others return to society with dignity and opportunity.

Our team worked with Glenn to create a lesson plan that’s now being used by teachers in prison classrooms across the country. These educators are using our MasterClasses as daily tools—to prompt discussion, to teach vocabulary, to encourage journaling, and most importantly, to inspire hope.

The goal is simple: We want people in prison to visualize success and know that it’s possible. Glenn’s story shows that success isn’t just a dream—it’s a strategy. And the path begins with the decisions we make while we’re still inside.

At Prison Professors, we build systems that align with that message. Our content is free. Our lessons are accessible. And every one of them is built on the belief that people can prepare for success—no matter where they start.
