What to Expect Next
After completing your enrollment form, you’ll receive a welcome email with clear, simple steps to get started.
If you’re building a profile for yourself, you’ll learn how to:
Our automated system will guide you through every step with short videos, examples, and sample materials. We’ll also send free books to help you take meaningful action—documenting your self-directed adjustment and preparing for success upon release.
If you’re building a profile for a loved one, you’ll receive guidance on how to manage their profile and support them in documenting the journey—building a body of work that strengthens their self-advocacy for the highest level of liberty, at the soonest possible time.
We provide all resources free of charge to individuals and families. We want everyone to have the tools to build hope, create opportunity, and work toward a better future.
By enrolling, you also contribute to a larger movement. We use dashboards that show individual progress as we advocate for policy and legislative reform that recognizes preparation and personal growth.
We advocate for reforms that encourage people to work toward earning higher levels of liberty—based on their documented record of preparing for success and avoiding disciplinary infractions.
It’s never too early, and never too late, to start building a record that shows why you’re worthy of a higher level of liberty. That record may influence mitigation before sentencing, pathways to lower-security confinement, work-release programs, furloughs, early termination of Supervised Release, and even clemency.
At Prison Professors Charitable, we believe in expanding opportunities for people to earn freedom through merit—based on the self-directed steps they take to prepare for success as law-abiding, contributing citizens.
Our mission is to:
Every enrollment helps us demonstrate that rehabilitation works—and that individuals who prepare deserve opportunities for advancement.
We make three promises to every member of our community:

We will never lie to members of our community.

We will never ask anyone to do anything we didn’t do while in prison—or that we’re not still doing today.

We will never charge individuals for any resource we offer through our nonprofit at Prison Professors.
This is our personal ministry—to help more people work toward earning freedom at the soonest possible time, and to improve outcomes of our nation’s criminal justice system. We’re striving to be the change we want to see in the world. We hope you’ll join our community.
