Peter Hardin is a criminal defense attorney based in Newport Beach, California. He represents individuals and businesses in state and federal investigations and prosecutions, conducts corporate internal investigations, and advocates for crime victims under Marsy’s Law. A U.S. Marine Corps combat veteran, Hardin served as a Judge Advocate and attained the rank of Captain. He deployed to Afghanistan with the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion in 2011 and 2012. He later served as an Orange County Deputy District Attorney and a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Central District of California. His defense work includes financial crimes, fraud, money laundering, and narcotics and firearms matters. His experience includes working with forensic, accounting, and other experts in preparation for trial and sentencing mitigation. He graduated from The George Washington University Law School.
