Prison Professors

December 26, 2025

December 26, 2025: Friday

I woke this morning to see that Steve incorporated all the changes I requested. Yet when I saw the copy on the live website, I concluded that I would have to work harder. The previous version of our website would have allowed me to go in and make changes myself, without bothering our developer. We had to trade off that flexibility to get the enterprise-grade level, which means the entire site is hard-coded. The advantage is speed and reliability, but the disadvantage is that I have to burden our development team to hard code any changes that we make. Today I am going through the site once again, making changes that Steve will implement.

Always think about the steps you’re taking today, and how they will relate to the success you want to build in the future. I am striving to build scale, measuring results. These efforts, I hope, will lead to reforms that allow more people to earn freedom through merit.

Every member of our community should make sure that they’re doing their part to advance toward the results they want toward prison and sentence reform. Count on me to do my part to make sure that more people in federal prison have opportunities to earn higher levels of liberty through merit.
