3rd Week of November Journal Entry:
This week was a very productive week for me. I am so grateful that I work at Unicorn, (Federal Prison Industries) because I am learning so much about how to work in a 9-5 pm job setting which is something that i haven't been able too do consistently and successfully in the past up until this point, I would always get a job and last a few weeks, months or a few seasons and then I would be let go or just stop showing up because using drugs was the most important thing too me for years, and that chase to get the money, or score the drugs is a full time job in it self so I am so grateful too be out of that nightmare finally. And honestly that is something that probably wouldn't have happened if I hadn't gotten picked up by the Marshals and taken too this lovely Federal Prison I now call home for the past 9 months and the next 2 years to come (maybe 18 months). So i am really grateful too be taking this situation seriously and trying to make the best out of it and trying to truly change my life with the tools that are available too me. I try and remain open minded and do positive things that I know will help me grow even if sometimes they are not comfortable because I know that nothing comes easy and i thrive to do better and be better then I was yesterday, ever day. So far this road hasn't been easy but I defiantly see some of the rewards already from being positive and doing the right thing, so I know for sure that this is a whole new me and a new mindset and outlook I have on life that I am so grateful for. I cant wait too see what the next new chapter of my life is going to bring with hard work and dedication I know that anything is possible and I can achieve way for then I have ever imagined be for if I continue to do the next right thing and learn from the mistakes in my past but not live there and relive them!
