At Prison Professors Charitable, our mission is to improve outcomes for all people in prison. Everyone should have the tools to prepare for success—and that preparation should open more opportunities to earn freedom through merit.

That’s why we created the Prison Professors Playbook.

The Playbook

People in prison may not know where to begin. They lack structure and guidance. The Playbook provides a clear, step-by-step framework anyone can use to:

• Write their biography to tell their story in their own words.
  
  
• Keep a journal to document daily growth.
  
  
• Build book reports that show ongoing education.
  
  
• Develop a release plan to demonstrate intentional reentry preparation.
  
  
• Collect testimonials that validate character and accountability.
  
  

By combining these tools, the Playbook helps people build a personal portfolio for liberty—a body of work that can support early release, reentry, and second chances.

Part of a Multi-Tiered Strategy

The Playbook is part of a broader strategy that we’ve been building for years:

• Courses – We create self-directed courses, distributed nationwide at no cost to participants.
  
  
• Profiles – Our digital platform allows people and their families to memorialize progress online.
  
  
• Dashboards & Leaderboards – We collect data showing accountability, growth, and leadership—evidence that supports our advocacy for systemic reform.
  
  

Together, these resources build a movement. They prove that rehabilitation is measurable, and that people who demonstrate effort deserve opportunities for greater liberty. We want the Prison Professors Playbook in as many hands as possible:
