By the time we launched PrisonProfessorsTalent.com, we had already accumulated more than 1,300 personal profiles from justice-impacted individuals. But many of those profiles were created without a clear plan for consistent engagement. We’re now focused on building a national portfolio of 10,000 active, purpose-driven profiles. This data will help us demonstrate what excellence looks like—and support our efforts to reform policies that reward personal growth, preparation, and merit. Every profile is a piece of a much larger story about what’s possible inside America’s justice system.
Building 10,000 meaningful student profiles won’t happen overnight—it’s a multi-year effort that requires daily discipline, outreach, and cultural change within an entrenched bureaucracy. We publish new lessons, create video content, and engage with families, institutions, and attorneys to help individuals understand the power of building a digital record that reflects their progress. Over time, this growing body of profiles will help us make a data-driven case for policy change—proving that when people are incentivized to pursue excellence, better outcomes follow for individuals, families, and society.
