Tribe Points

Tribe Points measure something deeper than personal progress—they measure influence. We created this system to encourage members of our community to lead by example and teach others how to prepare for success. When someone inspires a peer to open a profile on Prison Professors Talent, both individuals earn points. This reward system motivates people in custody to become ambassadors of self-directed learning and personal accountability. As more people build their own “tribes,” they contribute to a positive culture shift—one that prioritizes growth, reflection, and merit-based advancement.

Leadership That Starts From the Inside

Grow Your Impact. Build a Tribe.

The Tribe Points system tracks how many people each member has inspired to join our platform and begin their own journey of preparation. It’s not just about how much someone is writing—it’s about who they’re reaching. By encouraging peers to participate, members become part of a broader effort to bring change from the inside out. This data shows administrators, employers, and policymakers that real leadership exists behind the walls—and that those investing in others are helping build a more accountable and empowered prison culture.
